Training

To train is one of our clubs three pillars: Socialize – Train – Compete. We have offered our first session of Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes and we have presented two herding seminars and two Barn Hunt Seminars. Remember, to participate in our classes you must be a NOLA Dog Sports Club member so join today and see how we can help you have more fun with your dog(s). Congratulations Graduates!

We are so proud of the 19 dogs and handlers that passed their CGC evaluations and earned their titles. We are also so happy for the 10 teams that also completed their Novice Trick dog titles.

Our Seminars

Our Seminars are day long intensive training classes. We have hosted two Herding Seminars at WonderDog Farms with our fabulous herding teacher and herding judge Shelly Sportswood. We have hosted two Barn Hunt Seminar with Shelly at WonderDog Farms to prepare dogs to compete in our NOLA Barn Hunt Friends’ events. In August 2022 we will host two seminars (which are already sold out) in Scent Work.
